best truck nav

Any comments very welcome thanks

AA truckers atlas, both scales.

Use in conjuction with basic satnav which is a good pocket sized full street map of the country for help at the last knockings of a journey

Thanks Juddian appreciated

the tomtom truck pros are [zb] useless can’t pick up the satellites :imp: :imp: :imp: I really like the tomtom operating system but I now have 2 completely useless, expensive, pieces of junk, currently using with a bottom of the range car tomtom.

I find if you don’t regularly plug your TomTom into your computer and update it, it can struggle to find satellite signals.

the snooper s7000 truckmate pro they are a decent sat nav but also has freeview built in for when ya stop for the night and you can watch films on sd cards and music and can use ya phone through it lol

There were problems with some TomTom units around the time the clocks went forward in March. This would result in them appearing unable to get a lock on the satellites. Easily fixed with a downloaded update though.

I can have a ‘look’ at these if you want, I may be able to put the latest NavCore and Maps on, depending on the model. Just cover postage (Special Delivery) both ways and make a small donation to the CF Trust Charity. Let me know.

I convert Tomtom x20’s, x30’s, and x40’s into truck navs and never had any probs with them, after a hard reset, they can take a minute to find satalites, but after that, they’d be quick again.

I personally recommend the x30 converted.
