Bit random but anyone know where get decent work socks?
Used get Tesco ones but lately they don’t seem last more than couple months before get holes in them.
Tried JCB ones they don’t seem last that long either. And tried some other brand..
Don’t think make them as good quality as use to.
And before you start I’ve even cut my toe nails and makes no difference all seem to last a few months if that.
its because your daring to walk in them. nothing these days is designed to acctualy be used.
In all seriousness i have found jcb to be the best but you need to get the good ones about 6-7 quid a pair. Anything from matalan asda sports direct etc is a waste of space. Think i got the last lot from trespass if you have a store near you
I was buying them back in the '60s literally couldn’t wear them out can’t vouch for the quality today but worth a try.

I’m not sure where you live but near me is a group of Mole Valley Farmers shops that sell heavy duty socks for farmers, or the equivalent type of shop that’s close to your abode will suffice, failing that it’s online.
Have you tried getting a foot skin scraper that removes hard skin on the sole of the foot, I go to a foot lady that uses a machine buffer to get rid of dead hard skin on the feet that makes holes in socks when walking, Amazon sell cushions that go in the back of the heel as the feet made my socks wear out?
A rasp from the toolkit would be much cheaper 
Am in Manchester so not many outdoors farm kinda of places local.
And not keen on ordering online never know what there like.
I’ll probably go to go outdoors or millets see what they got.
Yet thing is got some normal non work socks that are thin and they seem last for ever possibly Primark range.
Just. Work socks don’t like me anymore
People make fun but at least they wash there stuff unlike a lot of English people who wear same stuff all week

Haven’t worn socks since 1999, my feet are more comfy and healthier than they’ve been for many years. 
That’s a good point.
I have a special sock. I’ve had it since I was 13. If the tech in Jurassic Park ever becomes a reality I confidently predict that my sock could populate a planet.

Dickies crew boot work socks for me.
I stopped wearing socks about a month ago , and yes my feet are better , but my steelies stink
I have been buying these for a few years, but I’m undecided if they have gone downhill since they have changed them recently.
