Just seen this in a newsletter from DKV, sounds like it will be similar to the scrapped French system.
In the last few months we noticed wide discussion on the Belgian toll levies to be introduced. The Belgian authorities are expected to introduce their recently announced satellite-controlled tolls system by 1 January 2016.
The new tolls system is intended for trucks as of 3.5 t maximum gross weight. We will work towards integrating pre-pay and post-pay tolls settlement options in our service portfolio.
The purpose of the new, satellite-controlled tolls system is to introduce automatic toll payment options on motorways in the Flanders and Brussels regions and the Walloon provinces. For Belgium, the introduction of the new tolls system will mean the end of its currently used Euro Vignettes.
It is very likely that transport firms will be offered pre-pay and post-pay settlement options, and DKV intends to integrate both solutions in its present, large service portfolio. The Belgian authorities are expected to come up with further, detailed information in the months to come.

The Belgian authorities are at the moment having discussions with Toll Collect. That’s the company that’s responsible for the German Maut system…
Not 100% sure how they’re going to do this, but I’ve heard it’s going to be similar to the Portuguese or Slovakian systems of stopping at the border & acquiring the OB Unit…
The article below is in Dutch, but there is a scale at the bottom of the page showing what it will cost per K/M following what EURO engine you have + weight…
Would be nice to think they can piggy back of one the many other boxes we’ve got already. The failed french box was sold as a system that may be able integrated into other systems. Some info I had initially mentioned it could be upgraded to sort Toll Collect in Germany.
