Does anyone know any firms within the lafarge tarmac quarry in bayston hill?
Kev castle runs a few trucks out of there , you could always grab a hi viz and hot foot it up there . Get yourself into the weighbridge office and sell yourself . There is a good number of owner drivers running out of there .
Have you tried Timmins , runs the green scania’s based at much wenlock I think . They have a Facebook page , go and like it or whatever you do on Facebook

Take a trip to Bayston Hill and put your details on a card and leave it in the weighbridge. Also tipper jobs going at Gore and Dolyhir/Strinds quarries near Kington. Have you tried Weaver’s from Ludlow.

Speaking as an employee of a small operator, it’s very easy for a boss to forget to call back. My boss will forget an order, lucky when he mentions “we’ve got to get a load from xyz on Thursday” that I write a note of it down in my cab.
