Jimmy blowing the candles out, The bottle of whiskey on the table was the one I presented him with Highland Prince, Only the best for this old workmate of mine, He was a great lad to work with, Sadley he is no longer with us, In fact Im the only one left of this fine group of proper drivers who allways took a pride in their wagons & their job, Baxters were a good old firm to work for, Young Jonny never told any of us to do anything he allways asked us to do it, He paid decent money & good expences Some of the best working days in my life, Working with these lads was a treat & I owe a lot to all of them who showed me the ropes when I first started there in 1957, The good old happy days, . Regards Larry.

Hi Dennis it was 1987ish, Jimmy retired at 60 but went on to work for Spicers at Washington, The old driver who I mated on the wagon & drag was 84 at this time, It was a fantastic party, The whiskeys were on me for the ones that drank them & the King Eddies, The photos were given to me by Jimmys son young Jimmy who organised the surprise party, Regards Larry.
Party over We are waiting for the Minibus to take us home, Everyone had a great night, And not one swearword to be heard, Of course there was ladies present & all of us old drivers were Gentlemen in those days, And I would like to thank young Jimmy for giving me these great photos, Regards Larry.

Hi Larry What great photos l recognise the faces but can not put names to them. Regards Crowbar.
Well Ralphy, Appart from me, There is Ginger Lawson Jimmys younger brother whom IIRC Worked for you in the 60s, He ended up driving for Jakey Adams & came to grief when he had a freak back injury. The rest of the blokes were all Baxters men and of course some of them went on to drive for Tony Waugh when Bob Kinghorn bought Baxters out, Regards Larry.
