Hi Dave, it was one of A.H. Jones, we had an FL12 which got written off so we had to replace it quite quickly so we bought the scania off A.H. Jones. It was a very tidy motor, are they still going or have you got any pics of their motors, they did keep their lorries nice.

Yes still going run by Nick Jones the son,his Dad passed away a couple of years ago,there’s always several lorries in the yard,don’t know how many of them he uses. I have seen about four on the road, atkidave would know better than me on that score.

Here’s one Malcom Cross drove for them. A lot of the tipper outfits only had four wheeler units until the 44 ton came in. I had a new Vectra on R574OFO in April 98.
