Just to let you old hands know…one of the oldest euro operators has stopped using their own drivers since being taken over by GEODIS. Yes, I’m sorry to say Barbour European no longer exists other than in the corporate world where they are now Geodis-Barbour. Sadly you won’t see any trucks other than some subbies pulling an old Giraud trailer or maybe a Barbour trailer. So from all the “Drunken Barbours” drivers past and present, All the best to every one we ever met on our Routier over night stops…too numerous to mention. As they say, all good things must end. Au revoir mes amis.
Sorry to hear that mate
Not far away there’s a small company that does European I don’t think we’re looking for anyone at the mo, but drop in on Monday n have a word with the boss. You never know what’s around the corner.
Best of luck for the future.
