Yep, most car drivers over here are complete morons! 
They have no idea how to behave around a truck, enter or exit the freeway or how to use mirrors. The act of driving seems to be placed in to 2nd or 3rd place of things to do when travelling down the freeway, it is less important than eating, drinking, doing makeup, talking or texting on the phone or holding their bloody dog on their laps . You have to experience it to believe it!!
Yes, car drivers here, especially in the North Eastern states of the US are this stupid, some are even worse. I didn’t watch the whole video because it made my blood boil. But the poor standard of driving that is in the extreme minority in the UK from car drivers, is in the US in the extreme majority. I put it down to next to no training, automatic cars which don’t require much forward thinking to drive properly, they’re simply push to go. They’re all on the phone or are texting, while eating a doughnut, while drinking their starbucks coffee, while hogging the middle lane, despite going slower than traffic in the left or right lane, if its a 3 lane interstate. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve left a gap for one of these oxygen thieves to merge in to my lane, only to see them put the hammer down to try and get ahead of the next vehicle, despite it being absolutely impossible to do so, meaning they either crash in to that vehicle, crash in to the cones / run down the hard shoulder or emergency brake and swerve in behind me, almost causing a multiple car pile up in the process. American car drivers are absolutely diabolical.

I think the lack of suitable training makes drivers like this.when I took my driving test in new York state I had to go to a training class for 5 hours. the trainer spent most of the time explaining ways of getting out of a dui charge and telling us its ok to drive up to 10 mph over the speed limit, I couldn’t believe it . and this was to young kids just starting to drive. the driving test was a joke, it took four and a half minutes. drove around the block ,did a parallel park, and that was it. so if this is the standard of training for the rest of the country you can see why they are bad drivers.
