Just lovely wandering down the country roads in spain, finding some of the old restaurants to eat and drink, takes me back in time a bit . Remembering the good times I had travelling these roads every week.
Hi Cliff, cant believe the lack of traffic on there…how things have changed…
I think this is the same road, Cliff. I took it through the windscreen of a Breda DAF I was driving, returning from Morocco on the Pamplona route in 1998. The Breda wagon ahead was being piloted by an Australian driver called ‘Skin’ - you may remember him. Robert
It is really quiet Mappo you wouldn’t recognise the roads not saying your old or anything like that. Yes Robert that looks like the same road and do remember the guy you mentioned from Australia.
And I should have been driving down the same road this afternoon , sadly not due to my wife’s broken femur .
I hope all is going well with her recovery Nigel.
Thanks Cliff, shes home now and has already sent 2 meals I had done back as they were to cold !
Hi Cliff, just loving this Axminster thread, don’t know if you remember me from the mid seventies had a f88 290 on gregory’s use to meet up in heston services mostly. You may remember i called into yard in Axminster and met Peter once to see if i could buy a mirror glass after a army truck hit mine as i was coming out of the old tunnel on the old A35. He didn’t have any in stock but offered me a job with the words what unit do you want within reason as i believe you had told him about me. Anyway while i was thinking about it and trying to tell the wife it was a good idea you went on office duty (ahem) and i left gregory’s and that as they say was that. Sorry to the rest of you on this thread, cheers Norman.
Thanks for the input Norman nice to see you on here, feel free to join in whenever you want.

Perhaps he meant cardboard; or clapperboard for clapperboarding the sides of houses. It’s called weatherboarding in Kent! Robert
