Avatars??

I’m trying to add an avatar that is on my own machine but am having a problem. The link below is from the FAQ on pictures and avatars and the instructions have a number of boxes with red crosses in which, I think, seem to be illustrations which are not visible (the same box with a red diagonal cross is what is showing when I try to load my picture).

The picture size that I’m trying to add is 60x45 pixels and is 1.3kb in size.

Anyone know what I am doing/is going wrong? Thanks in anticipation.

I don’t think that option works, you’ll need to host the image on a site like Photobucket and then use the ‘link to off site avatar’ option in the profile.

Here’s one I posted earlier

Possibly the easiest way is to host it on Photobucket and add a link to it in your profile.

Paste the link into section labeled Link to off-site Avatar, click submit and your Avatar should appear.
