I am looking to get into HGV work and just had a quick question for you guys. I have family abroad and am looking to spend sometime away from the UK over the next few years and was wondering how realistic it is to pick up agency work easily when I come back to the UK.
I would be back for say 3/4 months at a time but would then be away again for possibly 7/8 months or so and the time spent abroad I would not be doing anything driving related for work
Would having gaps like this be a problem for agencies or do they not really care if you have the correct licenses/ previous experience driving HGV’s in the UK?
