Austria-Euro 1 and 2 emissions transit

Hi,
Can anyone tell me when and if the Austrian’s are going to ban Euro 1 and Euro 2 trucks from transit
between Germany to Italy

not found a date as yet will keep on looking however
the maut if i have read it right will cost euro1 and
euro 2 to 3 ,trucks around 37cents a kilometer, thats a lot of money
euro 4 & 5 trucks 33cents and euro 6 30cents roughly

it’s just that one of my drivers said he had seen info saying that the Euro 1/2 emissions
in Austria will stop soon ■■?

There has been a total ban on EURO 0 and 1 emission trucks from a nearly 90 kilometre section of the A12 in Austria for a while now. Your driver may have seen one of the signs detailing this and misunderstood it.

just called 1 of my austrian hauliers tony. no date announced as of yet. he seems to think they will just hike the price up till 2011 and then announce a date. ta brian

Have put a question on the German site I use and will see what it brings ,
also the person before me has posted, said his Austrian counterpart has not
heard of a ban as yet, :slight_smile:

Euro 0 and Euro 1 are banned in TIROL SO if you was thinking of going this way
over the Brenner you can forget it,
