Yeah,sort of.
It was about a couple of truckers that were running from Germany to Turkey and every trip was some major adventure,with bandits or smugglers,a lot more exciting than my driving career was!Of course,a woman had to appear in it now and again.It was all the rage in Germany at the time it was on.
Seeing as how we’ve had "Das Boot"subtitled and shown over here,I don’t see why they can’t so the same with that.

My Aunt lived in Berlin and she used to watch Auf Achse. This was during the time I was running to Doha for Astran and she used to think that was what it was like every trip for me !! Poor thing.
I used to have to call her when I got back into West Germany to let her know that I was alright.
The closest it got to anything like that programme was after an Efes Kontrol at the Londra or at Oktays when Ritchie Thorne wanted to bash someone up that he didnt like.

Thinking more about it,the nearest thing that’s been on the UK telly was that series I think it was called “Truckers” starring James Hazeldene and Darragh O’Malley.It has been mentioned on this BB before and someone put a link on about the series.
They were running between Ireland and Yugo I seem to think.
