I have a bluetooth enabled stereo unit in the truck (renault). Would like to upgrade the microphone, the existing one is remote from the unit.
Can i desolder it and hook up a parrot mic?
If it’s remote from the unit,(ie not in the unit) I doubt it’s soldered in.
I’ve got a JVC unit with seperate Bluetooth mic which also enables me to control music on my phone remotley, it’s plugged into a rear aux port and gets its power by tapping into the + and - on the unit and is completely removable, I would presume yours would be same or very similar
My mic has two wires coming from it to some little gadget that is connected to the stereo.
What i need to find out is how compatible are microphones.
