Make sure the hotel keeps the layby round the side clear for you. They’re normally pretty good but finding somewhere else to stop there is a nightmare. Athens is not a very nice place at the moment what with all the new additions to the population and cronic fiscal issues - but the hotel’s g&t is great!!

yep, its still a dump but on the plus side his lad is top chef and the food is fantastic. the lad left in the summer to work in a restaurant so he might not be about, still a few dutch regulars and the odd irish man but mostly flip flops now.
had 8 days there in april last year, good people and enjoyed a few beers.

You need to come in toward Athens on the road no:8 direction pireaus it’s a dual carriageway, about 6k after entering this road slow down and you see a slip road coming up take this your then running along the side of the dual. If you miss this (it’s a bit of a runaround) anyway after 500m turn right at traffic lights follow road to bottom then keep following round the bend past military camp truck stop is 300m on left… Mind the dogs running around in there.
Last time I was there, there was a home made sign at the side of the road painted in red letters pointing the way
