Sounds frustating.When I got my green card (20 years ago) it was six months of Embassay visits,interviews and waiting for the postman. You’ll get there.

Sorry to go off-track a bit (I’ll try not to highjack this thread :blush: ), but what/where (how much) flights do you use or know about??

I am aiming to visit soon-ish and have so far found Belfast to Vancouver for Can$299; I can get to Belfast from Leeds Bradford for about £50 (so far so good - and cheap!!) but the Vancouver to Winnipeg was over Can$600!!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Any ideas■■?

Why not just hire a car and drive :question:
I know it will take you a couple of days but between Vancouver and “The Peg” you could visit alot of Canadian trucking companies and report back on what you think :bulb: :exclamation: :wink: .

Try flyzoom.ca and airtransat.com as they do some amazing deals. Try flying Manchester to Winnipeg or Toronto. From Toronto there’s westjet.ca who have sale prices most days. Midweek is cheaper. If you, or others, come out, let me know well in advance. We can meet up for coffee.
