Hello Drivers
I have been reading these webs for a few months. i had some spare time and registed and found some nice photgraphs. I am not a driver. well only in a car but my uncle took me in his lorry when I was growing up. My wife wants to move to New Zealand to be nearer sister, my job isn,t secure at work and I could try being a driver because i enjoy going with uncle Tony
If I go to the other side of the world will my driving licence be valid or do I take another driving course. There are lots of adverts about lorry driving in Uk but if I go to school can I drive lorry in New Zealand? Should I spend money here first
I am working with ventilation company and we have one small lorry but I have only moved it in the warehouse
By looking at these adds 4 other countries I’d suggest u need there licence. I would suggest gettin out there on other qualifications… Mayb your wifes? And then gettin your truck licence out there… It can cost you up 2 3000 grand over here apparently… So mayb its money you could save?.. And I think most jobs that are over seas ask 4 2 years experience… I hav no idea if any of what I say is right… Just from my thoughts… Hope that helps!
You will definitely have to qualify in NZ! But the NZ government are one of the most Internet savvy in the world, so there’s everything you need to know out there on the Internet. Start by Googling truck driving in New Zealand…
Oh, and you may find that you are more in demand in NZ with your current skills, than as a Kiwi truck driver!

We were hoping for a new start, including me. Im on my feet all day operating a lathe. children left home. no pets left.
my question really means do i need driving experience here or could i be a new driver over there. I read sometimes that new drivers have to wait two years before they are allowed on a road
wife is a therapist for people with marriage problems.
I am on holiday this week so will try some links from another place
Also it depends on your age about going over but as has been said have a look & research it before you commit but as wife has family out there ask them to research a bit for you
