Does anyone know the full story of why Ashworths went out of business.
My guess is they couldn’t make it pay by only getting only 25 tractors on an AEC Mk.3 wagon and drag !! 
Seriously though, it would be good to know the full story of many of the Yorkshire firms that are no longer around, J H Ashworth included.

There`s another Ashworths thread on here somewhere , did the closure of the International Harvesters site in Bradford have something to do with them finishing ?
They were a frighting site when they were coming full ahead towards you with that massive spare wheel on the front i often wondered why!
