Asda and speed limiters?

I might get the urge for the right kind of Euro work in the future, I’ll have to wait and see. I take a decent sized flask and supplement it with other coffee on route.

asda sounds just like CULINA logistics where i work, and same speeds, not restricted to 50 unlike the hanbury davis depots but we have to stick to 40 on A41, does drive you round bend sometimes, and having all paddys and foreigners pushing you down A41 to and from ferry lol but more relaxing and they dont expect you to rush either, which i dont.

At least with the promised strike action and the promise of the supermarket to keep the shelves full. ASDA now has a new meaning

You would do well not label everyone with the same brush my friend !!!

Seem to have hit a sore point there then :stuck_out_tongue:

In all the trade magazines, ASDA have promised that the shelves will be filled because of contingency plans already in place.

When Arthur Scargill closed the mines, the power stations still got their oil and coal, and people still got electric.

I hate doing asda tips anyway so the strike action is an excellent excuse to say " no i,m not going " …
Its bad enough getting tipped when they have staff , never mind the odd pole here and there next week .

oh so that means the agency’s will be doing the work… do you that for a fact or is it a guess

as it happens the stores are full to bursting point asda have been going mad filling them up like its a xmas rush they are already full to bursting point.

As well as an agency driver, I’m also a regular Asda shopper but I can’t decide whether to (a) boycott the store for one week & shop elsewhere :astonished: or (b) shop as normal to try & make sure they run out of stock sooner :smiling_imp: It’s a real dilemma & with the heat & half hour to kick-off it’s really hurting my brain!!! :unamused:

Actually, why’s this post timed at 14.16? - it’s 15.28 now - hour difference I could accept, but why the extra 12mins - pedants rule ok!!

Because the clock on the server runs fast/slow. It always has done. Occasionally someone goes and resets it to the correct time, and then, over time, it starts to gain/lose time again.

Just “one of those things”, I’m afraid.
