The only way to show appreciation for a good post is to make a reply.
Time consuming and poor usage of space.
Is it not possible to have an emoji or a “thank you” instant reply to a post, with or without the posters ID as on other sites?

My guess is that would require an upgrade to the board backend application/software.
Whether or not that is planned I can’t say, as I don’t know.

I can’t say for sure either. 
I did mention it to to those ‘upstairs’ when I spoke to them the other day.
At least I didn’t get a straight NO, but then again they didn’t say YES either.
