BFN 797 is Leyland Tiger TS8 fitted with a Park Royal C32R half canopy body. Lovely design!
It is believed to possibly be somewhere between the Kent coast and Victoria bus station. Probably was in the period 1946 to 1960. Where the coach is parked could be an old bomb/building site with hoardings for Goodyear Tyres and Lambs Navy Rum.
raymundo:
The picture was taken in Rochester and the tower in the back ground was at the visitor centre.
Raymundo, you are a marvel. This had me stumped for years!
I know that but my problem is in convincing others Google is your friend !! if you’re bored to bloody tears as I am and have too much spare time on my hands

Tell me about it!
OK, but what do you reckon to the coach? I think it rocks. It has flowing lines, sliding windows and an opening lower window to cool the driver plus lots of other features.
Lovely old girl. Would love something like that to convert to a decent sized camper. I very nearly bought years ago an old Dennis, the one with the Indians head on the radiator, from Dave Bickers who used to be the scramble world champion. He lived in the same small village as me and had a garage and supplied military vehicle and such like to the movie companies, the bus was part of a film consignment. Anyone remember him ?

I also have thought of turning one of these into a camper, there was one for sale on car and classic a bit ago but they wanted a lot for it. Yes I also remember Dave Bickers.
