Not nesessarily waiting for that exact reason, but in no rush (which is lucky as I am waiting for prov’ entitlemement and to book hazard/cpc 1st). Having said that I am secretly yearning that it comes in quickly so I can go straight to CE

I’m not waiting, but the speed DVLA are slithering along it’ll happen before I can actually do anything anyway. 
Man I wish they did that when I passed my test nearly 10 years go!
I do Understand why we have to take class 2 before class 1 as it gives one some time to get some experience in class 2 and at least get a feel for the height and width of a large vehicle but if one is determined to get a job driving an Arctic then it a absolutely better and saves a load of money too.
Glad it’s finally coming in though as if you are thinking about class 1 work but are not fully confident then at least you can still do class 2 work for a while first and you won’t have to take the extra time and money to take another course and test

Yes I am waiting for the rule changes to take effect. Apparently its imminent but a DVSA strike may scupper it all I read.
