Anyone been to medicine hat?

my girlfriends brother is moving to medicine hat as he has got a job there(he has never even been to canada!!!) i just wondered if anyone can give some info on the place good or bad

Medicine Hat is a small town in Alberta.
It is warm in summer and cold in winter. It is on the flatter eastern part of Alberta.

It’s a town that most people pass by on the TransCanada Highway.

My husband said it’s full of sqauddies,cos he was there in the 80’s when he was in the army.He said the sinbin and the silver dollar are good places to go, if there still there :exclamation: Strip joints he told me :wink: He enjoyed himself there,well he was single at the time :laughing:

know it well, not far from BATUS, the british army training ground,nice little town
and a lot off squaddies around, from time to time, my first experience off Canada was in this very town, and I loved it

i was in the hat in 88, 92, 2000,2003,2004,2005 in fact i go there all the time hence why i am trying to immigrate lol sin bin still there with the same bin bunnies no doubt, silver buckle is cool and corona is the best place in town be careful of the girls they break your heart though as they think differant from any woman i ever knew and the squadies are still rife there too being one still myself!! am trying to source a job there to try and get out on a work permit with a view to staying but gotta finish time in army off first
