Hello all, would there be anyone able to help with information on a Leyland 4 speed gearbox that was fitted to the Leyland Martian 6X6 heavy recovery vehicle used by the British Army ?
It is a 4 speed with synchro on 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Aluminium construction built in 2 halves and bolted together along its length, was also fitted in Leyland Royal Tiger bus chassis.
I’m looking for a model number / years built / any literature / information,
thanks, Chris.

It sounds like the same 'box that went in the Leyland Titan double-decker bus. If someone can verify that, I may be able to find some workshop manual scans.
