Week 1 mon-fri 0600-1630 (sat sun off)
Week 2 mon-fri 0600-1630 + sat 0600-12noon (sun off)
Week 3 mon-fri 0600-1630 (could I work the sat 0600-12noon)■■?

Week 3 = YES
You will have a reduced of 42 hours leaving 3 hours to payback
As you have 13+ hours off every day then pick any day in week 4 to have a reduced daily rest of 10 hours and use the other 3 hours as payback
So week 4 Im guessing i would need the sat sun off?
I work mon-fri 0600-1630 (my normal shifts)
sat is overtime 0600-12noon… i was just wondering how many i could do in a row on my shift pattern?
Or say i worked 0600-1800 (12hr shift) where would that leave me?
Thanks

Generally you can do every other saturday as overtime
If you did 0600 to 1800 mon to fri and 0600 to 1800 every other saturday then you would get 36 hours off one week and 60 hours off the next week which means the payback of 9 hours would be sorted every second week

I know this is ostensibly a PAYBACK question but just to satisfy my early morning “foginess”: is that not 2 Weekly Rest reductions in consecutive Fixed Weeks which in reality would prevent the 6-12 shift on Saturday in Week 3?

If the driver had a period of 90+ hours off including sunday midnight then with never working a sunday midnight two reduced weekly rests can legally be done in a row
After the 90+ off the weekly rests ae at the stat of the week and after the two reduced in a row the weekly rests switch to the end of the week

There’s not enough information to answer this correctly, ROG appears to be making the assumption that you havn’t already worked two consecutive Saturdays since the last 90 hour rest period.
If in fact you have not worked two consecutive Saturdays since your last 90 hour rest period that crossed Sunday midnight you’re probably OK to work Saturday in week 3, but to say you can without further information is pure guess work.
