There’s the ferry itself, and one of the approaches.
No duty frees. No cabins.
Coffee and croissant available though.

Looks grimmer than it was, to be honest. A grey morning in an otherwise pleasant week.
Not so far west as Morbihan.

No more takers?
It’s about 92 euros one way for an artic, for a 8?km crossing. But can save a couple of hundred road kms.

I have to admit it’s a bit of an educated guess bit is it Lac Leman.
No. 'Fraid not.
Owen Money was a fair bit closer.

I’ll have to educate myself a bit more.
I am ■■ Whoop Whoop
After Morbihan I haven’t a clue so I wait to be enlightened
Is it Pointe de Grave?
It’s the winner!

Actually in my car when I took the pics.
We have had a truck on there once or twice, but not me. Puts the Medoc within an easy shift of the channel ports. Strangers need to book in advance as only a few trucks will fit on.
Silly SatNav tried to route me on it once, from near Saintes to Bx. Obviously I took a “command decision” and ignored it.
“Not as far west as Morbihan”. I didn’t mean that as a deception . It is west coast, but not ‘that’ far west.

Is it cost effective ?
23.80 for the car and then 3.20 for each passenger ? You’re are missing out Claudes too…
and don’t forget next Thursday is a holiday here 01/11

There were a couple of artic tippers on it, and a rigid parcel carrier.
And if you load in the Medoc you can make the boat. Leaving Bx in the morn, loading, and running to port via Bx again is a lot of kms. Ferry can avoid a nightout near the port. Worth it for time saved and security.
Cost me time and money using it, but that’s what holidays are about!
Waiting until Friday afternoon to see where next week’s run is to. Start making plans for All Hallows then.
