Hey All,
So I was digging around for information on Working Time and Breaks etc and in so doing came across a guy on Youtube who claims that Mobile workers are entitled to 5.6 weeks or 28 days holidays per year, but with that NOT including Bank holidays.
See from 11:10 of the following:
As far as my current situation is concerned, my employer gives 20 days leave and then we get the 8 Bank Holiday days to make the total of 28 per year.
Does anybody know if the Youtube guy is correct and there is some special rule for Mobile workers which would basically grant them (us drivers) more holiday?
I’ve had a look around but can’t find a definitive answer as yet.
I do know, for example, that the minimum rule governing everyone in the UK, is the one my employer is currently using, i.e. including Bank Holidays as part of statutory leave.
But, again, i can’t find anything where it specifically states what Mobile workers are or are not entitled to.
Don’t worry, I can’t say I’m expecting him to be right, but I thought it is worth asking the question just in case
Cheers,
Jon
