The answer to your very good question is YES it is the same owners (DVV Media International,) which isn’t going to change.
The thing that will change is the hosting, so the whole TN forum will be migrating to a new platform called Discourse as soon as the preparations are complete. This is being worked on as I write this reply.
There’s a discussion underway in the Feedback Forum, plus a board wide announcement that I update from time to time at the top of all the TN forums.

That is an actual screenshot of the email I received, I haven’t altered it in any way. I don’t think I’ve even registered with them but if I have it won’t have been under that name so I think someone’s having a giraffe.

Please resist the urge to start using all the flashy whistles and bells. One thing I like about this forum is it’s simplicity. I opted out of the Reddit re-design because all the rubbish it has which whilst it no doubt appeals to the Insta generation just serves to make it worse to use.
So does this mean we are close to moving to Discourse for the forum?
