One for your Sky Plus early tomorrow morning at four am on channel 183 [Current tv] is an American trucking documentary called Lawless Truckers,apart from some footage of the Las Vegas truck show it doesn’t paint a pretty picture of life truck driving across the pond.It’s an American production so i don’t know if any members on here who live in North America have seen it,would be good to get their point of view.

No they never are,to be honest i thought at times it was just trying to sensationalise what they were showing.

When it involves truck drivers, most definitely not. When they did that top gear thing …stereotyping all truck drivers as prostitute murdering gearchanging people with no life other than trucking 
I did have a laugh about it but understood why truck drivers were upset about it.
And this eddie stobart program…say no more…Just makes truck drivers look like a bunch of cream cake delivering cry babies who ■■■■ and moan about cameras in the cab when they take a wrong turn.
Not bad mouthing truck drivers. but to me most of these programs when they’re based around truck drivers are stereotypical and generally not in a good way. But if anyone knows when it’s next on let me know. Sometimes watch 18 wheels of justice thats a good tv show if i do say so 
But then again i’ll watch anything with a truck in it! 
I’m staying up to watch the Packers v Falcons game anyway and that will be finishing about the time this program starts so I will probably give it a go.

Yeah I have Sky+ also but the games live and I don’t record live sport when I can watch it and this show will be on about the time the sport finishes so might as well stay up an extra hour. Sleeping is over rated, there’s time enough for sleeping when we’re dead.

what i noticed most was the quality of the truckstops and the amount they can drive in one go 11 hours, no tacho’s
and not very well organised as far as they authority’s.
Lot of strange people in that program. I didn’t think it was that good to be honest.

Yes. legally you can drive for 11 hours without stopping but i think your bladder would put up a fight

Seeing some of the people in that show I don’t think tha would necessarily make them actually stop.
Just watched it, and was a tad disappointed to be honest.
