Thanks very much for the photo and responses.
After a quick search they seem to hold a valid Operator Licence so they must still be working from Congleton.
Hello lads, Saw one of Clive Allmans latest on the A14 the other day, it was an XL cabbed Alpha, ex Boughey distribution livery with Allmans sign writing. Dont think he paints them up anymore which a shame, i liked that blue white and orange livery he had. Think he may still be running an ex Firmin-Coates ERF EC11, although i aint seen recently. I remember back in the mid 90’s he was running at least 8 ERF C series, all
powered by Gardner 300 turbo’s. Used to see them alot pulling steel mesh.
Regards Chris.
Brilliant photo’s there, looks like i was a fair bit out by saying Clive was ruuning a least 8 of them 8LXCT C series, think i can count 13 and a B series!
Thanks for shareing the link!

Loved seeing their lorries about, still doing it the original way.
Had a night out with one of Allmans drivers once about 10 years ago, tall skinny old boy, glasses bald head with a Thai bird in the cab of an E series
