Alli,
Memories,memories,memories
The mud at Ardoch, walk across the yard and your six inches taller by the time you get to the workshop!!!
Those lovely, clean, modern campers!!!
The well maintained and up to date truck fleet,NOT!!
But best of all those SUNSETS,I’ll never forget harvesting along a strip of grass in ND no wider than two foot with the USA on one side and Canada on the other,With an intercontinental ballistic missile silo in the field as well and one of those “magic” sunsets happening, all was right with the world at that moment.
Alli,
Did you ever get your class A CDL yet? I thought all that time sitting around in the rain at Ardoch would have meant you could have had the time to take it?
Then you will become in John McCrossan’s words “A big rigger”
I also hear that Jan has not been very well and hasn’t really been on the harvest run at all?
Tell her Karen and I where asking about her and I must get around to sending her an e-mail.
Well, work is over, but I’ll be here until Nov 8th to get my van sorted, and do my class A CDL. Then it’s roadtrip time!
By the way, if you see an old brown chevy van on the roads, with a TN UK sticker on the back, and ND plates saying “Alli UK” on them, that’s me. I have a cobra 25 and dual twigs too. So gimme a call on 19.
