Hi guys I have recently been offered an interview for Allied bakeries in Stockport next week, which I am really looking forward to. I have spoken to them over the phone for more info of what the assessment centre consists of and just want to find out if anybody knows more about it?
Also does anyone know about what the drivers contract is like too… I know that its up to 27K which suits me fine as I live only 2 miles away!
Anyway thanks for reading.
I’ve also been offered an interview (upto 2hrs…) and then a possible other day for an assessment, but the interview is at my work start time, so need to speak and re-arrange.
I’ve worked there before, but was on agency, so didn’t have to do all this interview / assessment stuff - the job’s easy enough though, or at least it was 6 - 7 years ago.
Couple of mates put in for it, one on days and one on nights! good luck! think the days is £27k for 05:30hrs start in the pub for 11:00hrs opening time!

I’m not sure about that. When I last worked there, the start times were between 0230 and 0500 depending where your 1st drop was.
Nice one guys, really looking forward to it so I hope the interview goes well. Start times and finish times will suit me fine too…need to get away from chemical tankers, no good for family life!

In Scotland they made u take an aptitude test 9secs to read & work out maths questions 3 of us tried 3 failed
I did the online tests too. Failed the checking one. Never been to a delivery where you had 5 seconds to determine the correct delivery number before you were told to ■■■■ off!
A pointless excercise that does nothing to determine your ability to deliver goods safely and on time to the correct location.
It’s not the tests as such, more the lack of time to work them out.
I am applying for a driving job, not entry to ■■■■■■■ MENSA!
