This advert for drivers is permanently posted on there web page I applied a year ago never heard a thing have since learned they recruit through agency drivers this is in the North West might be a different recruitment system in your area 
Is there competitive salary more competitive than there shelf stackers?
Don’t knock the shelf stackers. Full timers shelfies get paid more than agency drivers at some supermarkets as it is! 
Just had a look at the ad… Thought that “Competetive Salary” tab was something I could click on… Doh!
Any job that clearly doesn’t state the salary must be dire indeed, and therefore not worth applying for.
The correct word should be “compliant” (ie with minimum wage law) rather than “competitive” (pays no more than anyone else) I reckon. 
If they were paying £18ph base and only chasing clean licence holders with over 10,000 driving hours under their belts, then life would become a lot more interesting…
Why can’t driving a thing the weight of an aircraft and capable of killing as many people as an aircraft when handled wrong be paid a bit more “Pilot Style” eh? 
aldi where do i begin and end .just say CHANCERS in the extreme that and slave labour that about covers it i think
the women or men on the tills at the checkout in aldi supermarkets are on very good money
far more than any other supermarket /shop checkout till operator

Maybe I’m one of the few who actually liked tipping at Aldi’s RDCs. I found it was quicker to tip myself at Aldi than wait for a forkie at Tosco.

The gals in the aldi shops are on £10 per hour, that was five or ten years ago as they neede to memorise all the prices for some reason.

But a HGV licence costs £3k, not £100k.
Things aren’t so rosy in the pilot scene either.
There’s talk of zero hours contracts there too, except they’re trying to pay back that 100k on that.
Day drivers are on around the £11-£12ph mark. Nights, £2-£3ph more.
Yes, you do tip and load your trailer.
In the DC you have a stand on electric truck that moves 2 euros at a time.
At the stores you have a 1 euro walk along one.

Do you get ‘‘breaks’’ or are you expected to tip your trailer on your break. As i have never seen a aldi in a layby

some drivers want just drive,drive,drive.stop.press to POA,AND SLEEP,SLEEP,go out taked break and sleep again.for me liked sometime do some loading,unloading.it is good for health.especially for drivers.
