Anyone ever heard of a company in Alberta(LLyodminster based) called Sandpiper Truck Services?I am considering relocating to drive a vac/water truck on the oilfields, money sounds okay but what monthly wage should i expect to be good? This job is a straight truck 3A licence.Cheers for any feedback
When working in the patch you want to be looking at 10/12 grand per month.May sound ok but you’ll earn every cent, work stupidly odd hours, and get shut down during the thaw.Hope you’re feeling fit
10/12 grand per month how they pay you, by the hour rate, overtime, expenses etc or some set rate per day for example, because it can’t be mileage pay as you won’t being doing it. I’ve had nearly 20 years of vac trucks on both liquid and dry waste in UK and Europe and was looking at this option also but have really rejected it because of the weather but not made my mind up yet. Anybody really know about it over there info would be usefull. Thanks
