Alan Glendinning - Cumbria

How big is this company? I know they shift recycling materials for retailers but I seem to see their wagons nearly every day. The have a distinctive tidy looking fleet

Yeah they are very tidy, I also see a few Ian Ridley motors around my area, also very tidy. I think they do a similar type of work as I see their trailers in DHL Bellshill getting loaded up with bailed cardboard

Have 9 wagons running out of penrith. He started as a subbie for stobart for going at it alone. Still does stuff for stobarts.

Apparently he’s a ■■■■ to work for

I’m sure there is someone on here who is/was on for them, but haven’t seen him on for a while. Sure his name was choo or something like that. He had a Yorkie bar as his avatar.

Old post, i know! But, yeah, tidy fleet, and a good customer focused haulier.
I worked there for over 20yrs before i took early retirement and as someone mentioned on this post a bit of a s**t to work for! Very few man management skills, low wages and distrust of his drivers. Couldn’t even be bothered when I left to thank me for the years I’d put in. But, heyho, that’s what the job’s about these day’s…

One at Inverness 2013 and another on the A1(M).
