airsoft

on sunday i had never heard of this before but i was invited to join a newly created all ex forces team

in the last 24 hours i have spent a lot of money on ebay buying basic clothing and PPE

is anyone else into this sport?

Love Airsoft been playing for 5 years keeps you fit. Can get a bit addictive and expensive

what is airsoft then â– â– ?

A bit like paintball only not so messy

Playing toy soldiers. Dressing up in camo kit and shooting BB guns at each other. Sounds like fun to me

one guy i know asked me if i know how to use a gun. I said not really, in the signals we threw rocks

Lad I used to work with was well into airsoft. Guns, grenades, you name it. I think they had the use of an old building for it or something. As others have said, like paintball without the mess…my workmate used to come it with a fair few marks on Mondays from it though!

That’s why i didn’t want 95 kit but i couldn’t find the older DPM. I have got MAGNUM desert boots though and ballistic spec goggles. I haven’t gone full kit yet but enough to do a few skirmishes just to make sure i will do it often enough to warrant the outlay

first game next sunday. i am even taking a day off to do it although i will have a 13 to 14 hour shift finishing a few hours before i have to get up for it

From falkirk. Where you going for airsoft. Played it alot when i was younger but got expensive and ran out of time. Places like section 8 @ allanton and landwarrior near gorebridge are good sites with the later also having an apc and a few land rovers!
