For me to apply to do any work outside of my normal job I need to register it as a business interest. I intend to do some days driving with whatever agency so as to gain experience etc. To apply for my business interest I need to say whether I would be employed or self employed. Is there generally a correct answer for this?
I assume you work for the agency so are employed by them?

Some agencies want you self employed, others on PAYE, and many give you the choice.
If you are currently on paye, I’d stick with that myself (In fact, even if I didn’t have a job and just do agency, I would stick with paye) the addition of going self employed can be a pain (imo).
That is what I am thinking yeah, and didn’t know agencies so either so I guess I need to find one first.
