I wouldn’t bother with a CV for agencies just ring a few up go in a see them and wait for the work to roll in.
Edit: Sorry i should add after 4 years away you should be fine, this forum has great tips for anyone getting back in the saddle.
Have you booked or already got your CPC…
Tried that m8 but all the ones I called want a CV and to pop in for a chat. So just looking to find a couple worth dealing with.
OK, sure someone from your area will recommend a few shortly…
I was away for 9 years and was driving the next weekend after my agency visit.
If your doing a CV may also be worth dropping it into a few hauliers in your area see if they have any weekend work going, just be honest about your situation and see what happens.
The best connection. If Tracy is still there you are laughing. Eye candy and good at her job
We had a couple of Chavys do a bit of labouring up our place the other week they were from flame I think in totton. They said there a great agency to work for and drivers get paid loads, now wether that’s there loads or actual loads I couldn’t comment. There’s a few agency’s down near Northam bridge drive personnel and some others along the road from Northam and st Mary’s. I’ve never worked or know any drivers who do work on agency so can’t really help other than throw some new out there.
Drive Personnel in Fair Oak are well worth a call. I worked with them for 8 months before getting a full time gig. Very professional agency, decent regular work, nice people too. Work hard, and they’ll look after you well.
