Hi, can anyone just advice me on my drivers hours
Im a fairly new LGV Driver, was on the buses before hand, recently got a job driving class 2 refrigration doing multidrop.
What im wanting to know is does unloading time count as actually driving time, for example if i work up to my 4 and half hours and half of that is taken up unloading do i still need to take my 45 min break or is it just just the actuall driving time of the lorry

No, Driving time is time actually spent driving, unloading time, if you yourself are unloading the vehicle
is classed as “other work.”
So if you have worked upto 4 and a half hours, with half of that time spent unloading, then you have only
used 2hrs 15 min driving time.
