I thought Dr30 was when you had failed to give a specimen? (Read refused)

A possibility might be to offer to pay to have an alcholock installed on your truck?
One of our coaches has one fitted for a certain contract, no end of trouble with false positives, no manual override either…

You are correct. The OP has either failed or refused a test.
Obviously dealt with as if you were over the limit.
It will be on your licence for 11 years.
Strangely enough, if the op was to gain a foreign licence the endorsement would not follow him. It would still be on a DVLA Ghost record but it would not be visible to prospective employers.
Quite alarming IMO
to me it looks worse than a dr10 as you obviously knew and tried to beat the system.
Are all DR codes about “refusals”?
Whilst we’re on the subject of endorsement codes - Wasn’t there once an LC10 code you got “driving without a licence”… What do you get the points put on there exactly?

Isn’t this why it’s so easy for “foreign drivers” to get work ahead of local talent in this country?
DR10 Driving or attempting to drive with alcohol level above limit
DR20 Driving or attempting to drive while unfit through drink
DR30 Driving or attempting to drive then failing to supply a specimen for analysis
DR40 In charge of a vehicle while alcohol level above limit
DR50 In charge of a vehicle while unfit through drink
DR60 Failure to provide a specimen for analysis in circumstances other than driving or attempting to drive
DR70 Failing to provide specimen for breath test
DR80 Driving or attempting to drive when unfit through drugs
DR90 In charge of a vehicle when unfit through drugs

To the OP, how much over being the morning after were you over ■■
Possibly irrelevant, the endorsements there so can’t see 1 mg or 100mg over being any different to an employers insurer

just wondered … being nosey that’s all
Refusing to give sample so must have been drinking on the morning also, possibly an ex-alcholic.
Anyway no need for me to take the moral high ground as the OP doesn’t want Jugging.
Could try for a job as a shunter whilst knocking on doors.
My missus rams her ■■■■■ in my face on a regular basis. I like it a lot. Is this being ’ Jugged ’ ?
DR10 Refusing to drive whilst sober

Yep and normally a prequel to being Muffed
I was flashed by a hen party in a mini bus the other day (twice after I caught em up again), think I have fell victim to a ‘drive by Jugging’.
Cheers Dave. Knew you were the right man for the answer.

I feel like I have been groomed for my participation…
Pretty sad this, the bloke has asked a genuine question. Yes he dropped a bollock and has paid a heavy but just price and all most of you can do is take the ■■■■. Cut him some slack and if you can’t offer constructive advise leave it out.

Try the big, self insuring, companies. They look at your abilities and willingness to work. And tbey dont have an insurance company that says no.
Dont ask me how I know, but Turners didnt mind, lloyd Fraser didnt mind, and at least one agency I worked for for about six years didnt mind either. Be upfront about it, and make it absolutely clear it was a one of…good luck.
We self insure but when i friend of mine asked about a job with a DR30 he was told they wouldn’t take him until 5 years after the offence for insurance reasons
