Any truth in the rumour that ADR has lost the contract at Lea Green CO-OP?
I’ll let you know when I’m back in work
Highly likely if that branch is as bad as up here. Can’t keep drivers so they can’t keep contracts
and i think NFT are getting a bit peed off with them at certain depots for the same reason… promise the earth and all that,
drivers leaving them, other agencies saying no when they ring up trying to cover their backsides,
even offering £100 or more on top of shifts in desperation.
What do you blame? - A lack of drivers not already working elsewhere, or the work is crap, and no one wants it?
lets be honest when you advertise Supermarket delivery’s, its not quite Asda now is it and half the shops you gotta park on the dreaded yellows to which if your unfortunate to get the fine your the one paying it

up here they have paid bonuses of £250+. They were bringing guys up from down south, paying them £500 plus hourly rate and we were doing a better job for hourly rate only. That’s part of the reason I walked away. That and booking me without asking me first. Now I am working in the same place for more money and I have a cushy job starting at the same time every day.

he means you want your RRR’s kicking if you’re daft enough to pay the fine yourself.

It was £200 a shift plus whatever they earned on the shift and their digs paid at morrisons, mind you £500 a shift to go into the Co-op seems a little light to me
I do think they promise the earth to clients and then cant fulfil these promises and as we are at the bottom of the food chain we get the shaft but hey that’s agency life , you can get a few extra quid a shift if you play them right though
