Adding light bars/marker lights!

Hey all,

I have a 62 plate Daf LF 4 wheeler Tipper and I’m looking to add a hi bar with led marker lights and maybe a few additional marker lights on the grill etc.

I was thinking about having spotlights added to the bar but the truck constantly having to access tight areas and low branches I’m not sure how long they would last for!

I’m not convinced about the multibar for the lower grill as I need access to my towing pin if I get stuck and I’m not sure about the low bar under the bumper either in case I come across a low bank or uneven ground.

I love seeing trucks like this at events and I want to have a truck that can be a bit of a head turner with out going over board with airbrushed paint effects and complete leather interiors.

I’m just looking for some advice on what I can and can’t do and if anybody has some pictures and or ideas!

if you look at the pics on this page, there is one of FG Bond’s LF’s with all the bars on it, and by the look of the truck, it does the same work as yours

the multibar fastens to the towing hitch point, and can be accessed by removing the bolts from one end of the bar and lifting the end up

you can fit LED’s to the grille, but, you must make sure they are balanced each side

Tidy little thing that. Look on the kelsa site, there are a few pics an the top bar sits behind the visor, so wouldn’t sit too high.

if its your own truck, save yer dosh for some tyres and a few tanks of diesel methinks :wink:
