Can you use it as an excuse for getting wedged under bridges and in cul-de-sacs in 7.5 ton limits like you can with Satnav?

Since you’re the Official TNUK Pedant, I couldn’t really let that one go…
It was actually Sony’s batteries that were exploding, but they had been used (and rebadged) by various manufacturers including Dell and Apple. Sony seemed to do a rather slick job of avoiding being named as the real culprits…

Now you tell me!
Just got my new “close up” atlas
Geeez its heavy, I wonder if you could be prosicuted for carrying an offencesive weapon by owning 1, as its heavy enough to cause some serious damage if you hit someone with it
it might even make a suitable replacement for the cab baseball bat
Armour your trucks with it in Iraq and Afghanistan.
just recived mine couldnt belive the size of the box it came in

Got mine too, what about that bubblewrap ? Best trampoline going
I just got one, mainly for the promise of plans of all the ports ( I am on containers next week)
What do you guys think ? Are these port plans any good ? I looked at the southampton plan and it only shows Gate 8 - only having done a container run once before and having to load at gate 8, am I right to assume that that’s the main loading dock in Sotton ?
To be honest I have no idea which ports I’ll end up going to next week, but I’d feel better if I had faith in the plans shown in the book
You want Gate 20 for SCT
Got mine too
Only a little gripe - the old version had street maps of Birmingham, Manchester and London in the back, and this one only has London. Oh, and I kind of got used to which page I needed for various areas, so will take a bit of getting used to.
I think they maybe need to reinforce the pages round the wiro binding as it will soon start ripping with regular use - my old one has several ‘floating’ pages! The only other thing that would make it perfect would be to have weight restrictions marked, although I suppose it would just get really cluttered.
On the whole though - great!

Heh, great. I took me half an hour in the dark to find gate 8 last time. I went into gate 10 and the security pointed me in the right direction.
Is there anywhere to get a decent plan of the docks ?
You shouldn’t need one, there are plenty of very bored people around to ask.
Has maps of most ports on it
suprisingly found by GOOGLING “Southampton port”
edited to shorten link but [zb]ing thing won’t

thanks for that, I DID try google, but used “southampton docks” instead - try it, you don’t get much of any help.
