Still see Alan from time to time don’t think his dad Brian ever worked at pops but did have a couple of wagons on containers after pops days

Hi Phil, those ex-Pops drivers seem to be scarcer than hens teeth, don’t they?

Sure do mate I’m struggling tbh. Got a few but its not easy don’t know any other way on Internet try locate people. Wife’s on Facebook put all names in but no joy there either. Have had any luck or time try get in touch with the ones you mentioned hughie lemon etc.

they ar all keeping there heads down LOL!!! Cheers Chris.

All I’m sure of is myself and Robin Fowles, I can almost 99.9% guarantee that we will attend. Still waiting to hear about Hughie, believe he lives in Moulton. A lad I know used to see him occasionally…but I’ve not seen him for a while either. If and when I do get in touch with Hughie and he’s up for it, I’ll bring him also. Who have you got lined up already Phil…is Kenny Woods going?

Kenny Dave collier Brian and Alan collier I would think tiny kenwright and Kev Broome not sure if you’ll know Kev ? Wife’s tried Facebook for me with all the names surgested.

Seems that way. It f***in hard work findind folk from 40 years ago lol

Don’t know Kev, remember Tony…nearly started for him once. Not really surprised it’s so hard, I think your dad and David could have been the youngest drivers…and he’s approaching 60! Most of them would be 70 plus now, if they’re still with us! There should be a few still about though, it’s just finding them. Keep trying!!
Just a thought, have you tried asking your old man, discretely, or have you tried?

Yes he’s alway on about the good old days. So it’s quite easy to dig him. When did you last see tony ?
