Anyone thinking of using the A259 between Newhaven and Brighton in the next few hours would be wise to find another route.
Road is closed due to a very large bomb being found, a large area has been evacuated.
I know that a lot of regulars on the Newhaven/Dieppe ferry use that route to and from the West.
It’s the Germans getting their own back for the one our lads left in Frankfurt last week.
Road is now open. It was not a bomb, appears that it was a fuel tank under an old police station!
