following this as I have an assessment with them soon
I might have soon also… heard that don’t get full pay until held class 1 for a year… don’t know if true tho… be interested to know
Walking floor you’ll be doing waste / recycling mainly along with some forest product
Chip Liner you’ll do virgin / recycled chip and also hauling finished boards
Own truck and trailer nobody uses it unless you’re on holiday
Nights out on a Friday are common so bare that in mind
Between £600 - £700 take home each week all in including your nights out and any bonuses seems to be the norm
No hourly rate

Does sound like decent pay but considering its “all in” and presuming that includes 5 nights out, i"ll wager its not a 45 hr week.
This is what I’m told…may be true, may be b/s…you decide.
Make sure you ‘‘get into the Jenky zone,’’ …
So…
Try and max out your hours every week, (even though you don’t really have to)
Do the 1 to 2 am starts…so you can be ‘‘first in the queue’’ (again don’t really have to)
Work for Jack ■■■■ on a Sunday (for same reason as above) 
Believe it when they say ‘‘you’re on a percentage’’ …(although you don’t know the earnings so no way of working out)it’s probs true who knows/cares.
Ignore most of your fellow drivers when you see them on road, and always try and beat them to a destination.
Park in a ■■■■ lay by as first choice rather than last resort.
Or…
Work at a sensible pace without behaving as if your arse is on fire and get paid virtually the same as the heroes.
So I’m told anyway (by a reliable source) but got to say all of the above is "allegedlly’’ as an arse covering excercise. 
So basically …give it a go.

It’s salary of £450 a week £26.50 night out £10 meal alllowance plus 20% of the trucks profit they said to me drivers average 620 a week take home the more experienced ones are on £680 a week take home
I see them a lot in Belgium.

20% of the trucks profit…after 2 grand.
One of my friends who had been an owner driver for a good number of years, had, for family reasons, to pack in. After getting things sorted, he went to work for Jenkinsons for around five years until he retired.
He enjoyed the job and said he wished he had done it long ago. I meet a lot of their drivers up our way and never hear any serious complaints.
The mad charge for jct40 roundabout 4am’ish Monday mornings 
Dents much same work n Bullmans or Beatties on tippers round there too
I left in Sept to try my hand at non driving work, starting back there next week…it can be hard graft. But its as easy as you make it… sixth shift is hourly paid and i think i did 3 sat morning run ins in a year…
