And… (hold on to your socks) our closest primate relative, the chimpanzee, IS NOT a vegetarian, they hunt other primates, a co-ordinated hunt with beaters and trappers, and they eat them raw after ripping them apart.

In which parallel dimension is that load of utter twaddle a reasonable response to my post refering to the verifiable facts that squid are not fish, and chimps are not vegetarians? I think you, CF and Winseer are just facets of one troll and all live under one bridge waiting for unsuspecting billy goats to pass.
This gives me a dilemma: I’m torn between (i) the possiblilty that I’m simply feeding a goat-hating-under-bridge-dwelling-troll, and (ii) simply enjoying too much the venting of my scientific spleen in the direction of someone who potentially might actually be a genuine mad hatter.
Sploom, you remind me of a scientologist guy (this is in the 1980s when it was less well known), who would hang around the main street in central Newcastle (Northumberland Street) handing out leaflets on Dianetics, by sci-fi writer L Ron Hubbard, who created The Church of Scientology. He would mumble some kind of mantra under his breath constantly while doing this.

My issue is not with Christianity or the Bible, (there are actually some good stories in there as I remember,) and nor with ‘normal’ people who follow the Christian faith, because they are usually just that…normal.

I just want you to have the courage of your convictions about these subjects, if you can not see anything wrong with the perverted interpretation of this kind of thing in the Bible by your own cult, then why not just talk straight about it, instead of veiled hints and ambiguity,…Because you know it is too sensitive and will show you to what you really are.
