A religion question for Robroy, but will he give me a straigh

I find the Guardian too liberal-lefty-woke for my liking, but one thing I would not do is insult the quality of their journalism: For integrity and investigative work, they’re head and shoulders above any other newpaper I can think of, and as far from “trash” as we could hope for in the UK press.

> Sploom:
> What a load of trash, those articles, mind you ,what else would you expect from the Guardian newspaper.Im sure these things go on but not in any church I have belonged to.

The Guardian is sponsored by its readers, unlike the SUN, Torygraph, Express, Times etc. who are funded by Foreigners who pay no Tax in the UK or display any beneficial moves towards the UK.

You might not notice it in any church you belong to, (you need to look a bit closer) but your lot are still one of the greatest dangers to society in the UK (World), and even more so in the USA where they could potentially help to re-elect the Orange Anti Christ: Donald Trump/

Sunday Tomorrow. Something for tomorrow’s sermon:-

Winseer.
Yes,we do live in a secular world but we are promised victory in the fight against good and evil.
Psalm 108:13 NIV
13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies

All this meaningless rhetorical dog sh again eh? :unamused:
You should save it for your poor unfortunate second man of the day, because we are all sick of hearing it,.and you are convincing nobody …except for maybe the forum lunatic.

Ok, so lets just go back and see what we have already established in the discussion…concentrating on the parts you are uncomfortable with in terms of admitting, (which I will KEEP on reminding you of until you shut the ■■■■ up :bulb: .)

Lets start with your 'enemies, that you mention here.
So you’ve already ‘trampled down’ as you put it, the previous generations of ‘enemies’ and bad people, by making them come back as disabled people, as a punishment, so only the other group of people that you despise to work on now eh?
Only homosexuals now to banish to ‘eternal damnation’. :bulb:

Just you keep up the crusade of hatred and bigotry mate, .and at the same time keep telling yourself you are doing a good job and that you and your narrow minded ilk are all for the good in the world …Aye , my arse.

So how do the rest of us fight the evil in your particular brand of religion that we find equally as offensive ?

You cant fight the evil because only God can ultimatly declare what is good and what is evil. The psalm doesnt make any promise that you have victory over what you find offensive. If you are,by your own admission,an unbeliever, there are no words of comfort for you in the Bible. So what you find offensive doesnt mean God finds it offensive also.It depends on what it is that you are referring to.
Can I just state the obvious and that is that it wasnt my decision to allow babies to be born disabled. We do our bit for babies,by the way.How many babies are killed while still inside the mothers womb?Slaughtered by the abortionist? What about that?
Are you going to raise this issue with them too?
Im not here to trample on anybody.I am here to lift people up.Cant you see Im trying to put you in a better position…
Yes,I believe in eternal damnation. Its very real and frightful for me to think of.But,God alone makes the decision on who goes to hell.Jesus Christ came to the earth once to deal with sin.He will come the second time to slaughter and to ■■■■.He will be merciless in the execution of His divine punishement, but the it will be no more than divine justice demands

Aye right.

All the things you enjoy are gifts from God,the air you breathe, your friends, family, food, drink your waking up to a new day.The beautiful world you enjoy.
The people in hell have none of this. They finally get what they always wanted and that is complete seperation from God.
I used to drink with this guy and he joked that if there is no alcohol or ■■■ in heaven,he would rather go to hell.We had lots of conversations like you and me have but to no avail. He sadly passed away a few years ago.He knows now but its too late for him to seek eternal life.I dont want you to meet the same fate. While you are alive you have the chance to turn to Jesus, have all your sins forgiven and know for certainty you will go to Heaven. And no fear of death.

Ive just wasted 3 minutes of my time watching that waiting for the punchline

Robroy, just to wrap things up,can I just ask,has anyone else tried to convert you to Christian fundamental beliefs,or am I the only one, just curious…

Sploom:
Ive just wasted 3 minutes of my time watching that waiting for the punchline

You WASTE your entire life mate,.3 minutes is negligible.

Still not entirely convinced you are genuine.
Anybody with your absolute religious obsession that you put across that you have (outside of an instutution of course) is a good candidate to be on MI 5 watch list.

Still think you are on a complete wind up , if you ain’t you have a problem.

I’ve already told you, I went to a Protestant Sunday school,.I was made to study RE at school, I was confirmed at 14, I even got married in church ffs …just to please my parents, my Grandparents were devout Christians…(even though you had the cheek and audacity before to tell me that they were not,…because they did not come under your ‘religious nutcase’ criteria :unamused: …)
But long before that about 15 years old I saw through it all.
I was half way there to being brainwashed (nowhere to your extent I must add)
It’s my nature not to believe everything I am told, and make my mind up and form my own opinions…I listened to all the cack,.and just thought…’ NAH come on’.

Yeah,ok.
I dont remember telling you that any of your relatives werent Christians or not so I take that back if I did.
It is written very clearly in the Bible God alone will be the judge of those things.

Nah I was there mate,.I saw them,.I was brought up by them to a greater extent,.and I would have a lot to thank them for if they were still here…so.I reckon I’ll be the judge.
Apology accepted btw.

According to our friend,‘all things are a gift from God’',I wonder if God is Greek, dont they say ‘‘beware Greeks bearing gifts’’.

So I guess by that, FEAR is the main reason for being a Christian ■■
Jesus H C sounds like a really nice bloke :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction

Yes,absolutley, fear of the Lord is one of the gifts of the spirit. But why do we fear Him?
Is He some sort of ogre or monster?
No,its YOUR SIN!
As soon as you look at God you see your sin and fall .
God,in His mercy sent His Son as a sacrifice so that only through Him can your sins be forgiven

Luke 12:5 ►

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

God is love.
But He is holy ,and because of this,He cant overlook your sin.

Imagine going into a courtroom where you meet someone who has wronged you…
The judge might be a nice guy.You might have met him in a pub before and seen him just as a normal person. But in the courtroom, you want justice served.
Does this make the judge a bad person.No.not to you at least, but maybe to the criminal
