A new stimulating new thread urgently required

In the face of the catastrophe that is now engulfing the UK and notwithstanding the resilience of the majority of TNUK Members in the face of past difficulties how about someone coming up with a new thread that will “wet” the appetites or maybe the remaining brain cells !! I never thought my thread of 10 years ago about Big J 8 LXB’s would have run so long but it did and has !!! So any ideas Lads ? Cheers Bewick.

Dennis,

Great idea, but I do think that you are a little premature in giving up on the hunt for the elusive beast

E.W.(Furloughed Dealer Principal of Citroen Dealership with plenty of time on my hands! )

Sorry to hear you are “on the stones” as they used to say E.W. but the main thing is you will come out of the end of this nightmare healthy and ready to re-enter the fray ! Not sure about a Citroen Dealership though ! How about trying Dacia or MG :sunglasses:   I’ve put in an S.O.S. call to Leatherhead City Desk for inspiration but as of yet “no show” possibly Matron has steadily increased the dose of horse tranquilizer over the past week so any response may be a bit incoherent ( nothing new there then) , we shall have to wait and see ! :sunglasses:    Regards Dennis.

ditto

I’m the last survivor here and fading fast.I’ve called on Trump to nuke China but no reply yet I think he’s taking a wait and see approach.

Good time to raise the question as to has anyone got any photos of Gardners short lived range of V engines.By all accounts there were more of them produced than 8 LXB Guy Big J’s. :smiling_imp:

This will not be stimulating however views on the recruitment of young offenders, early release prisoners, as a workforce for the picking of farmers produce,it was said today, there will be a thousand pickers, plus, needed, normally done by a foreign workforce. probably unregistered currency used,no tax,i do not know…

The unwilling applicants should be Bused in to the correct areas, then live in army tented accommodation also fed by them.To pay their dues
