These chaps know how to do it i am retired and live in Slovenia and i am amazed how much snow equipment they have i live out in the sticks when i leave the village i go down a single track road then i turn off onto my drive and they come and clear this which is private about 300 metres long they are out all the time clearing and gritting also my freind who lives in a small town they clean the roads on the estate where she lives thay also clear the footpaths with mini tractors and when it is all over all the grit is swept up mainly by brush shovel and my council tax costs me 110 euros per year.
I dont know what the cost of the winter costs here grit etc if i find out i will post it and to think it was once Commy block
